Greetings golfers,
I hope you've all had a good week on and off the golf course and welcome to another edition of the Tyrrells Wood Pro Shop newsletter bringing you up to date with all the latest news and offers.
It's been another week of deliveries for us in the Pro Shop, if I ever need to change professions then with the amount of cardboard boxes we've seen over the last few weeks I think I might go into production! This week we took delivery of a new grip range, FootJoy golf shoes, the all New Titleist Pro V1 golf ball and the ever popular ¼ zip Storm Fleece from Under Armour but more about that later. I hope you all got to watch England play rugby on Saturday. I have to be honest, I'm not the biggest rugby fan but that match even had me and Freddie glued to the TV.
I'm delighted to announce that the Captain and I are still undefeated in this year's Cameron Cup, the fact that we haven't played a match yet is irrelevant! We have quite a few matches arranged already although we have had a cancellation, so if you would like to challenge us on Thursday 9th March at 11am please let me know.
Free Grip Time
It is the time of the year for a little MOT on your clubs, and to help, I am offering to re-grip your 7 iron (or any other club to be honest) for FREE.
Pop into the shop and we will advise you on the correct grip and size that would benefit you the most. You will certainly see a difference if you haven't re-gripped your clubs for a while.

Please also check your shoes for the correct spikes, it can be slippery and wet in certain areas and the right spikes are vital for this time of the year.

During the session we will:
- Assess your game - what are your strengths and weaknesses?
- What is your target for the year ahead? - This might be a handicap target or a performance target like adding distance to your game or improving your putting
- Plan specifically for you - we devise a plan for your improvement that is specific to you and your lifestyle
