Are you ready for Rogue and G400 MAX?

The next few weeks sees the much anticipated release of Callaway’s and PING’s new ranges. PING will be in store very soon and Callaway's demo range are in-store as you can see below.

Both brands claim to offer the most forgiveness and distance, but will they make a difference to your game?

It's the 'Holy Grail'...

When I custom fit golfers one thing I really like to find is some efficiency. In my opinion it’s the ‘Holy Grail’ of improving quickly! Making sure we utilise every ounce of speed created can sometimes make all the difference.

So just how far should/could you hit the ball?

Well, have a look at the chart below to give you some idea of the potential distance you can expect with your driver.

Ladies Distance Clinic - Only 3 spaces left!

Ladies, if you struggle with carries off the tee and a lack of distance is sapping your confidence, this 90 minute clinic is perfect for you! Learn how to hit the ball further with an improved strike and grow your confidence with your longer clubs, making the game more enjoyable and more effortless.

• Monday 12th February 10am - 11.30am

MOT your game this February

It doesn’t feel like it yet but spring isn’t too far away. It won’t be long before we’re out on the course in a polo shirt, mud free and with a decent amount of roll on the ball.

Make sure your game is ready for the season ahead with a 30minute MOT.

During the session we will:

• Assess your game – what are your strengths and weaknesses?
• What is your target for the year ahead? This might be a handicap target or a performance target like adding distance to your game or improving your putting
• Assess your current equipment and advise any changes that may help your game
• Plan specifically for you – we devise a plan for your improvement that is specific to you and your lifestyle

MOTs are only available through February and are available for just £20.

Womens’ only Taster Sessions – February 2018

Do you have a friend, family member, neighbour or colleague who would like to try golf for free this February?

Women only taster sessions are running on:

• Sunday 11th February 1pm – 2.30pm
• Sunday 25th February 1pm – 2.30pm

All equipment can be provided, maximum of 10 spaces per session

Competition results

Firstly, I have to say many congratulations to all our members who braved the elements this week. There are two competition results below but credit to everyone who played, the weather was pretty awful.

Tuesday 23rd January

Many congratulations to Tessa Simpson who won the Ladies Stableford with 31 points, from Penny Brown with 30.

Some amazing play from Paul Hibbert, who’s joined us from Leatherhead (good choice Paul!) saw him finish in top spot with an incredible 37 points in some of the windiest conditions I’ve seen at Tyrrells. Trevor Steer finished in second place on 30.
