So we’re into our fourth week of lockdown, how are you all coping? I hope you all managed to celebrate the Easter weekend in some way, shape or form - especially with an Easter Egg or two. Last week should’ve been spent watching the Masters and I’m not sure Sky Sports helped by showing lots of previous Masters. It’s just not the same as live sport and in the end, I missed the tournament even more. On a positive note, it's been lovely to spend time at home with my family, the boys are growing up so quickly and Ava has changed so much, all we need to do is to find a way to get her to sleep through the night. With the government due to make a decision on the lockdown at the end of the week, I find it hard to believe we’ll be allowed out quite yet and after Nicky cut my hair last week it’s probably a good thing I’m not at work at the moment. When we do get back to the golf course I’m sure they’ll be some restrictions enforced on us but I’ll happily take these in order to be playing again. Plus having tried to do our food shopping online in recent weeks I have a new sympathy for those members frustrated they couldn’t book a tee time in our competitions. Speaking of members, I’d like to say a massive thank you to every one of you who has paid their membership subs. In these difficult times, it’s fantastic to see what Tyrrells means to all of you. This week’s newsletter is packed with some great features that we think you’ll enjoy. Our weekly quiz continues, there are more drills and challenges for you to try at home, as well as a brilliant video at the bottom of this email. To kick things off, we’re going to look at one of golf’s greatest rivalries! Enjoy the read.
