Welcome to this week's newsletter from Tyrrells Wood Golf Club, we hope you're well. I wish you all well during the lockdown, although I'll miss golf, I'm very much looking forward to spending some quality time with my family. It'll be nice to be able to take the boys to school and spend time with Ava. I can't believe she'll be a year old next month. If you are going to do something to help your golf then make sure you keep moving and swinging a golf club during lockdown. I wouldn’t advise getting too technical but a few stretches a day and a couple of golf swings to keep things ticking over will be well worthwhile for when we do get back to golf. I’m hoping that during the lockdown, England Golf will be able to sort out the issue with the WHS, as long as they don’t furlough all their staff again. Unfortunately every golf club I’ve spoken to are having similar issues with the new system, let’s hope that by the time we get back to playing golf, these problems have been resolved. In the meantime, please email me if you have any missing competitions or other issues with your new handicap index. Enjoy the read, take care, stay safe and I look forward to seeing you all in December. Rob. |
