Although weather-wise it's been a little in-different this week, we've been keeping busy in the pro shop. The more observant of you will have noticed a few changes to the layout of the shop.

As you can see from the picture, Chris and Peter were hard at work, I think I was making the tea at this point! We're making these changes as we have some great new displays arriving soon and some very exciting products. I hope you like the changes!!

Keep an eye out over the next few weeks as we have some great new brands and products arriving by the day. I'm especially looking forward to a new golf ball from Callaway. I've used it a few times and have been so impressed with it, Phil Mickelson was so impressed he's using the non-tour version of the ball! There's no better sport for bringing people together and, with its winning combination of exercise, sporting skill and social interaction, golf is the perfect tonic for health and happiness. If you have friends or family that are looking to try a new skill in the new year, why not suggest golf? It doesn't matter if they have never played golf before or haven't picked up a club in years, Get into Golf sessions are a low cost way to give golf a try.

The sessions are fun, sociable and held in a relaxed atmosphere, they run through a basic introduction to the game and provide follow-on coaching opportunities together with information about Academy membership. The next Get into Golf sessions start on Sunday, 1 March - Sunday, 5 April between 12.00pm-1.00pm. At a cost of £60 for the 6 weeks, it is well worth a try. Many congratulations to Elliott Perrett who won the Club Stableford on Sunday with 38 points. The win also cuts Elliott's handicap to single figures….. Just in time for the Winter League Final!!??
