Can you believe it's Masters week (again!) in just a few days? It wasn't too long ago that we sat in awe as Dustin Johnson's remarkable game tamed the unforgiving Augusta National. Who do you think will come out on top next week? Reply to this email with your favourite!

Welcome back!

It’s been lovely to see so many members back enjoying their golf, I’ve even seen a couple of decent tee shots off the 1st tee, who needs practice huh?

At 07:30 on Monday 29th March Tyrrells members - Bob Booth, Paul Carton, Mark Gilbert and Derek Ormond got everything underway.

Major season kicks off this week

European golf fans, cover your eyes! The WGC-Dell Technologies Match Play was not pretty viewing for Padraig Harrington & Co. as the States dominated, with Billy Horschel defeating Scottie Scheffler in a scrappy final. Who can blame them considering it was their 7th match in just four days!

The Major Championship season kicks off this week as the world’s best lady golfers head to California for the ANA Inspiration. Last year’s tournament saw Mirim Lee shock everyone with a comeback win including two chip-ins, an 18th-hole eagle and a three-way playoff! A host of the game’s stars, including the Korda sisters (Nelly & Jess), Lexi Thompson and Danielle Kang have all been in fine form this year. It’s destined to be a cracker!

Hopefully, it won't be long before you're teeing up in major club competitions once again so why not book yourself in for a lesson or two to sharpen up your game?

Staying grounded this season
