Trilby Tour success 

Well played Tyrrells member Ken Drew who has qualified from 1000s of golfers for the Trilby Matchplay Singles Final at Rockliffe Hall at the end of June. The competition will be shown on Sky Sports - Play well, Ken!!




Men's Club Championship 

Good luck to all who have entered the men's Club Championship this weekend. Pin positions will be available on the day or on Friday evening by downloading them on www.mypinpoint.co.uk. 

The Scratch Salver was presented in 1929 by G. Garfield Sharman (Captain in 1939 and the Club's first President 1950-1969) and the winner of this Salver is recognised as 'Club Champion'. The format is a 36-hole strokeplay scratch competition played from the white tees, there is a handicap limit of 12. This competition is played alongside the Clayton Cup. Both competitions are played over a weekend in June. The start times for the first round will be drawn with play starting from the 1st tee only, allowing for an unlimited number of entrants. After round one there will be a cut with the top 80 overall competitors advancing to the final round. These players will start in score order with the leaders of the Scratch Salver starting last from the 1st tee. Both rounds are qualifying for handicap purposes, any adjustments will be made following the conclusion of the second round.

The Ebrahim Trophy is back! 

We still have a few spaces available for the Tyrrells Wood Cross Country competition - the Ebrahim Trophy. The format is a three-person texas scramble with all members invited to enter. It's a fun way to play the course like never before, well not intentionally anyway! You don't need to find a team just enter your name on the start sheet and other members can join you. Entry fee is £8 per person which includes prizes and a meal after your golf. It's a fun, informal competition and online entry is now open! We'd love to see you on the day.
