If, like me, you're already fed up with the weather this autumn it really hasn't helped that both my assistants have been in the sunshine these past few weeks. Chris has just returned from a week's holiday in Cyprus and Jo is in sunny Spain this week with 11 Tyrrells Wood lady members, although I'm not sure how much we'll get to hear about it - as the saying goes 'what happens on tour, stays on tour!'
This week Titleist have launched a limited edition double digit Pro V1 and Pro V1x golf ball. If you'd like to play '00' or '99' and stand out from the crowd, then please click here to reserve your dozen. But hurry these are on a strictly first-come first-served basis - you have been warned!
We have also started our FREE ball personalisation campaign with Titleist when your purchase a minimum of one dozen balls from their range. There are no hidden charges. To order your balls please visit my online order form here.
And boy are we spoiling you this week. Right now, if you buy any new Motocaddy trolley with a Lithium battery you can claim £50 cashback. It's simple. Come and speak to us if you have any queries, we'll be happy to help.
Winter League rule changes - Please note that the Captain's Committee have made the following change to the Winter League rules for this year:
Unplayed matches, injuries and illness - If, when the league tables are removed on Sun 6 Mar, a pair has failed to complete all their matches, they will be disqualified and ALL of their results will be expunged from the league.
Matches may now start from the 10th tee from 08:30am on an informal basis. Winter League matches do not have preference from the 10th tee and starting times will be strictly on a first-come first-served basis
16th green complex work - As I'm sure most of you will all be aware, the re-design of the 16th hole is now well underway. Whilst this work is taking place please be aware that all bunkers on the 16th hole are compulsory GUR. Each new bunker has a designated drop zone, it's worth noting this may be closer to the hole!
The last few spaces available for new junior golfers
Jo will also be starting another block of her popular Junior Golf Passport lessons starting on Sunday, 8 November. If any of you have children or grandchildren that may like to give golf a go this is the perfect opportunity for them to try it out. The dates of the sessions are as follows:
Sun 8 Nov - Sun 6 Dec
Each Sunday between 2:00pm and 3:00pm
The Junior Golf Passport sessions are aimed at juniors aged 5-9 and follow a fun games based structure. For more information about the Junior Golf Passport please follow this link.
